A series of two telegrams from the Tribal Chairman of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians to the Honorable Henry M. Jackson regarding the Indian Self-Determination and Educational Reform Act. The Chairman stresses the importance of passing the Indian Self-Determination Act in its present form and developing a stronger bill for Indian education. He requests that the bill be separated into two parts and that a hearing be scheduled for representatives from Indian tribes to testify on the merits of the bill.
