Senator Abourezk is planning two days of field hearings in South Dakota on Indian housing issues. The first day will focus on hearing from Indian people themselves about their housing problems, while the second day will include testimony from experts and leaders in the field. The purpose is to address the worsening conditions of Indian housing and the challenges of adapting housing programs to fit the unique circumstances of reservations. The public is welcome to attend the hearings.
