The National Tribal Chairmen's Association is holding its Fourth Annual Convention in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with the theme of "Indian Self-Determination Indian Plank On Tribal Terms". The convention aims to address key issues in Indian programs and develop an Indian plank to present to the Democratic and Republican parties. Travel funds are being negotiated with Federal agencies for eligible tribes. Further details on the convention arrangements will be provided.
