A series of questions and concerns regarding the Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) handling of Indian housing programs. Questions range from the number of responses received on proposed regulations, to funding for new housing projects, to the implementation of the Indian Self-Determination Act. There are also questions about the coordination between HUD, the Bureau of Indian Affairs, and the Indian Health Service. Additionally, concerns are raised about the lack of progress in fulfilling commitments made in the past and the need for improved organization and support for Indian housing programs within HUD.
