 Item — Box: 33, Folder: 4
Identifier: CAC_CC_003_2_33_4_0001
The Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma are seeking funding for a Community Development Block Grant Program to improve water and sewer facilities in a target area of Potawatomi homes in rural Pottawatomie County. They believe that current federal funding programs are inadequate to meet their needs and are requesting recognition of supplemental data and surveys concerning Indian tribes to ensure fair distribution of funds. They are voluntarily submitting their projects for review and coordination with area-wide community development plans. They are also requesting a set-aside fund for Indian tribes in Oklahoma and express the importance of their project for the future of their community.
