A response to a letter from Senator Bartlett regarding funding needs for the Hammon School. The Bureau of Indian Affairs has adopted a policy of local tribal determination for resource allocation, and a planning allowance of $30,000 is available for the school in FY 1975. The funds can be used for physical facilities or other purposes, subject to mutual agreement between the school and the Bureau.
