 Item — Box: 61, Folder: 29
Identifier: CAC_CC_003_8_61_29_0020
The letter is from the Bureau of Indian Affairs regarding Mary M. Shavney's eligibility for a grant due to discrepancies in her Indian blood degree. The Bureau states that they have issued a statement concerning her Indian blood and she is now eligible to apply for financial aid at the school she plans to attend. If a financial need is established and funds are available, they will be mailed to the school. The Bureau appreciates the Senator's interest in American Indian students.
