The text is a series of letters regarding the funding application submitted by the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma under the Title IV, Part C, Indian Education Act. The Deputy Commissioner for Indian Education is reviewing the application and expects to make final funding decisions by late May 1978. Senator Dewey F. Bartlett expressed his support for the application and requested fair consideration for it. The Office of Congressional Liaison will notify successful applicants in the district prior to the general announcement of awards.
