A telegram informing Honorable Harry J. W. Belvin, Principal Chief of the Choctaw Nation, of the appointment of Dr. Raymond D. Higgins as Chief Surgeon at the Talihina Indian Hospital. Dr. Higgins is scheduled to leave his home in Dennysville on March 3rd and will report to Talihina within a week. This appointment is said to fill a long-standing need for a qualified chief surgeon at the hospital. Sent by Carl Albert, M.C. from the Third District of Oklahoma.
