Mr. Edmond Colvin from Tuskahoma, Oklahoma, requested a doctor's certificate for surgery he underwent at the Indian Hospital in Claremore in November 1948. There were difficulties in obtaining the certificate, and Hon. Carl Albert contacted the Public Health Service to assist in getting the required documentation. The Public Health Service acknowledged the request and committed to providing the certificate to Mr. Colvin.
