Congressman Carl Albert received a letter from Mr. D. Carter urging action in settling the claims of the Citizen Band of Pottawatomie Indians. He requested information from the Department of Justice regarding the status of these claims. In response, the Department of Justice provided a detailed report on the various cases and their current status, including those awaiting decision, being briefed, and set for trial. Congressman Albert assured Mr. Carter that he would follow up with the Department of Justice and provide further information once available.
