The Inter-tribal Council of Five Civilized Tribes will hold their quarterly meeting on July 11th in Tishomingo, with officials from Bureau of Indian Affairs and U.S. Public Health Service giving presentations. The meeting will focus on Indian affairs, public health, and industrial development programs. Council members and speakers will be guests of the Tishomingo Chamber of Commerce, and visitors are welcome to attend. The Council usually meets in Muskogee but is rotating meeting locations at original capitol sites of the five Indian nations.
