Indian Health Division Launches Medical Records Education Program for Indian Hospitals and Health Stations, 1962-12-20

A new Division of Indian Health medical records education program was introduced in Oklahoma City in December 1962. The program aimed to train personnel on professional record standards, codes of ethics, and Division of Indian Health Standards. Miss Shirley Sillineri conducted workshops in Oklahoma City before moving on to other Indian Health Areas. Local staff from Oklahoma Indian Health facilities assisted in the training sessions. Attendees from various Indian Health facilities in Oklahoma were also listed.
