Support for Mr. Tudor at Indian Public Service Hospital, 1962-06-19

 Item — Box: 41, Folder: 44
Identifier: CAC_CC_001_4_41_44_0008
Wharton Mathies, the Cashier of Clayton State Bank, wrote a letter to Congressman Carl Albert expressing support for Mr. Tudor, an employee at the Indian Public Service Hospital at Talihina. Mathies believes that Tudor should be commended for his work and not criticized, as he is helping the Native Americans become more respectable. Mathies feels that if Tudor is removed, it will set the Native Americans back in gaining confidence in themselves. Congressman Albert responded, thanking Mathies for his letter and assuring him that he has forwarded positive feedback about Tudor to the appropriate officials.
