The letter is a response to Mr. Coons' concerns about the distribution of funds payable to the Pawnee Tribe. The Pawnee governing body has proposed a per capita distribution of $5 million with a $2 million set aside for housing and education. The resolution is awaiting approval from the Secretary of Interior. The letter writer, Carl Albert, has referred Mr. Coons' objections to Congressman Page Belcher for further attention.
