Mrs. Kaluzniak wrote to Congressman Carl Albert expressing the frustration of the Choctaw and Chickasaw Indians regarding the delay in receiving their per capita payments for the sale of their lands. The Indians are angry and demand immediate payment, as they are in need of funds for clothing, shelter, and repairs to their homes. Mrs. Kaluzniak urges Congressman Albert to push for the appropriation of the funds as soon as possible. Congressman Albert assures Mrs. Kaluzniak that he is working to expedite the process and hopes to have the matter settled soon.
