The letter is from Congressman Carl Albert in response to a letter from Mr. Fols Featherston regarding payment for coal lands. Congressman Monroney is planning a new housing plan for farm dwellings that would not require a mortgage on the land. The plan aims to spur the building of new farm homes without burdening farmers with additional mortgage liability. This plan is seen as necessary as farm housing has not kept pace with city housing construction.
