Mr. Wilson inquired about the payment for the sale of coal lands belonging to the Choctaw and Chickasaw tribes. Congressman Carl Albert responded, stating that while he would do his best to secure appropriations, he did not believe the payment would be made soon. He assured Mr. Wilson of his support and friendship, and offered assistance if needed.
