The National Congress of American Indians has appointed John Belindo as the Director of their Washington office. Belindo, a Kiowa-Navajo Indian from Oklahoma City, has a background in biology and has previously worked as a Medical Research Assistant. He is also a columnist for a daily newspaper in Oklahoma City and has a special interest in American music. Belindo will be relocating to Washington with his family at the end of July.
