Eugene Burke wrote to Carl Albert seeking assistance from the Bureau of Indian Affairs for the upkeep of the Hochatown Cemetery, which has many unknown Indian graves and no relatives to help maintain it. The Bureau responded that they do not have funds for this purpose and suggested seeking assistance from the County Commissioners. Carl Albert thanked Eugene Burke for bringing the matter to their attention and said they were looking into the possibility of assistance from the Bureau.
