The letter acknowledges receipt of a postcard inquiring about payment from the sale of coal and asphalt owned by the Choctaw and Chickasaw tribes. It informs the recipient that a voting period on an agreement related to the sale will take place between November 1 and November 30 and advises them to register with the Superintendent of the Five Civilized Tribes in order to participate in the vote. Payment cannot be made until the votes are counted.
