The Chief Medical Officer at the Indian Hospital in Talihina issued a memorandum explaining the rules and laws regarding the care of individuals not entitled to services in Indian Service Hospitals. Only those in true emergency situations can be admitted, and they must pay a fee for services. Non-emergency cases should be referred elsewhere for treatment.
