The text is a series of correspondence between Robert E. Lee, an attorney, and Carl Albert, a congressman, regarding an application for the removal of restrictions on land owned by Sam Jessie and Lewiston Jessie. The application was approved by the Bureau of Indian Affairs and sent to the Muskogee Area Office. Carl Albert assures Robert E. Lee that he will keep him updated on the status of the application and will take the matter up with the proper officials in Washington.
