Chief Belvin and the Choctaw Tribe will be honoring Mrs. Irene Heard as the FIRST Goodwill Ambassador for the Choctaws. The presentation will take place at Talihina on Monday, October 29 at 7:30. Robert Anderson of the Five Civilized Tribes Foundation, Inc. requested a congratulatory letter be sent to Mrs. Heard and a copy to Chief Belvin. Mrs. Heard is affiliated with the Choctaw Tribal Council of Pittsburg County in McAlester.
