Jimmy Sams, Randy Jacobs, and P. L. Roebuck met with John McCormack to protest restrictions on Choctaw Chief candidates imposed by Chief Jimmy Belvin. They believe the age limit of 35 is meant to prevent younger candidates from running and feel Chief Belvin is acting dictatorial. They sought help from the Department to set the age limit at 30, but were unsuccessful.
