Item — Box: 141, Folder: 9
Identifier: CAC_CC_004_10_141_9_0021
The letters are correspondence between Mr. Robert No Ear and Member of Congress Page Belcher regarding the Chilocco Indian School. Belcher assures No Ear that he is looking into the situation at the school and will do everything possible to keep it running. There is mention of the possibility of the Bureau of Indian Affairs contracting with a private organization for the operation of the school, but further consideration of this matter has been put on hold. No Ear expresses concern about the potential phase-out of the school and the impact it will have on civil service employees. He asks for Belcher's help in preserving their jobs.
