 Item — Box: 12, Folder: 18
Identifier: CAC_CC_004_2_12_18_0013
Mrs. Susan Younghawk Coons of Pawnee, Oklahoma, wrote to Honorable Page Belcher about issues with her oil royalty payments. The Department of Interior, Geological Survey of Oklahoma investigated and found that her complaints were not justified. They provided detailed information on the production and payments for her leases operated by Gulf Coast Western and Wilkinson. Mrs. Coons was advised to check with the Indian Agency in Pawnee for confirmation of the credited payments. The department also addressed her concerns about delays in payments on non-Indian producing leases compared to Indian leases.
