George Gibbs, a young full-blooded Seminole Creek Indian, wrote a letter to Hon. C.A. Wheeler Jr., expressing his concerns about the friction between the two tribes caused by government authorities. He also mentioned the endorsement of Chief Harry JW. Belvids for Indian affairs commissioner. Gibbs requested Wheeler's support in removing Myers from the administration, as he is causing harm to Indian problems. Wheeler responded to Gibbs, acknowledging his concerns and promising to convey his suggestions to Congressman Belcher. He also praised Gibbs for his efforts in the past campaign and expressed interest in discussing Young Republican activities with him in the future.
