The letter dated May 19, 1953, from Page Belcher to Frits P. Warrior enclosed a copy of a letter from the Anadarko Area Office regarding Warrior's loan application for his farm. The letter from the Anadarko Area Office explained that Warrior's loan application was disapproved due to the limited amount of land available for farming and the reluctance of other allotment owners to enter into an agreement. Warrior expressed his frustration in a letter dated April 10, 1953, stating his desire to farm the land with a government loan but facing obstacles from the Indian Credit Association and John L. Johnson. Warrior also mentioned issues with lease rental payments.
