The text consists of letters and resolutions regarding the approval of the continuance of the principal officers of the Five Civilized Tribes. The Inter-Tribal Council of the Five Civilized Tribes voted to continue the tribal existence and the present tribal governments in full force and effect until otherwise provided by law.
