Mr. and Mrs. George R. Marotta wrote to Congressman Page Belcher asking for support for President Eisenhower's Health Program as their son Mark is suffering from leukemia. They believe that increased funding for medical research may help find a cure for their son's condition. Congressman Belcher responded, assuring them that he will look into the status of the Health, Education, and Welfare Bill which includes funds for National Cancer Research. He agrees with the need for the program and promises to remember their comments.
