Resolution of Protest Against Consolidation of Anadarko Area Office, 1959-06-10

 Item — Box: 45, Folder: 8a
Identifier: CAC_CC_004_5_45_8A_0011
The Anadarko Chamber of Commerce is concerned about the consolidation of services from the Anadarko Area Office to the Muskogee Area Office by the Bureau of Indian Affairs. They feel that this consolidation is contrary to the best interests of the Indians in the area and is negatively affecting the morale of the personnel at the Anadarko Area Office. They have sent a resolution to Congressman Page Belcher protesting this consolidation and requesting that efforts be made to restore the services back to the Anadarko Area Office. Congressman Belcher has acknowledged the resolution and will be looking into the matter.
