Maxine Hoklotubbe wrote to Senator Dewey F. Bartlett and complained about construction problems with her Mutual Help home. The Housing Authority stated that the discrepancies had been corrected and that Hoklotubbe was now living in a comfortable, completed house. The Heritage Construction Co. had also faced complaints from Hoklotubbe about the construction of her home. Hoklotubbe requested assistance in getting her house finished before winter.
