Mrs. Clara Morrison of Watonga, Oklahoma had a complaint regarding the house being constructed for her by the Housing Authority of the Cheyenne-Arapaho Tribes of Indians. The Department of Housing and Urban Development investigated the complaint and addressed specific issues raised by Mrs. Morrison. They assured her that her concerns were being addressed and encouraged her to continue working with the Tribal Housing Authority to resolve any differences. Senator Dewey F. Bartlett was informed of the investigation and asked to hold off on any planned moves regarding the Oklahoma Indian Housing program until further review and consultation with tribal authorities.
