Glenn English, a member of Congress, received a letter from Fred Hoffman regarding the reduction of the Cheyenne-Arapaho Tribes' service area. English contacted Herbert Fellman of the Department of Labor on behalf of the Tribes and promised to provide a final response. Hoffman's letter to Fellman addressed issues such as financial transfers, jurisdictional changes, and the impact on tribal members. The Tribes argued that their jurisdiction includes seventeen counties and requested a prompt response on the jurisdictional issue. The letter also mentioned contacting other officials and organizations for support.
