The letter from Congressman Glenn English to Mr. Jose Angel Gomez acknowledges the review of a training proposal for farmworker youths by a special panel. The proposal is being considered alongside others received under the Solicitation for Grant Application. The Department of Labor will inform Congressman English of the selection for the program. Congressman English expressed support for the ORO Development Corporation's proposal to train farmworker youth in computer operations. The Department of Labor will notify Members of Congress about the selected grantees for farmworker youth programs.
