The Health Systems Agency of Oklahoma filed a lawsuit protesting the designation of the Oklahoma Health Systems Agency in March. The lawsuit aims to prevent the transfer of funds to OHSA until the challenge is resolved. The OHS A selected a Texas man as its new executive director, sparking controversy as all board members are appointed by the governor. Larry T. DePriest was chosen for the position over other candidates, including those backed by Gov. David Boren. Dates for the injunction and original lawsuit have not been set.
