The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is seeking public comments to help determine whether a proposed field sanitation standard for agricultural workers should be developed. Comments are due by May 2, and OSHA is specifically interested in information regarding the types of work, workers, and industries to be covered, as well as the potential health risks associated with the lack of sanitary facilities. The agency is also seeking input on the economic impact of implementing a field sanitation standard. Comments should be submitted to the OSHA Docket Officer in Washington, D.C. by May 2.
