Glenn English, a member of Congress, received a letter from A.R.K. Ramos Foundry & Manufacturing Company expressing concern over proposed changes to the OSHA airborne lead standard. The company believes that complying with the new standard would be costly and could potentially put them out of business. They urge English to oppose the standard to protect jobs and businesses. English assures them that their concerns will be considered if Congress votes on the matter.
