Opposition to Proposed OSHA Regulations for Grain Handling Facilities, 1984-01-06

 Item — Box: 170, Folder: 16
Identifier: CAC_CC_017_3_170_16_0014
Various grain handling facilities in Oklahoma have expressed concerns about proposed OSHA regulations that they feel are unnecessary, ineffective, and costly. They have contacted Congressman Glenn English to urge him to use his influence to prevent the adoption of these rules. The facilities estimate significant initial and annual costs to comply with the regulations, which they believe will not improve safety. They have sent comments to OSHA and requested Congressman English to also contact OSHA on their behalf.
