Request for Extension of Public Comment Period on OSHA Air Contaminants Proposal, 1988-06-07

 Item — Box: 170, Folder: 17
Identifier: CAC_CC_017_3_170_17_0005
John C. Pearson, President of Guthrie Cotton Oil Company, is writing a letter to John A. Pendergrass of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, expressing strong objection to the agency's attempt to limit the public comment period to 30 days on a significant new regulation regarding air contaminants. Pearson argues that the rulemaking is of great importance and complexity, and therefore deserves a longer comment period for affected industries to analyze and prepare their comments. He requests an additional 60-day extension in the comment period.
