Orval Siler, a former Commissioner of the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission, wrote to Representative Glenn English expressing concern about proposed regulations by the Department of Labor that would affect fringe benefits for State Employment Office employees. Siler requested that current retirement and other fringe benefits be retained for current employees and retirees, as he believed they had vested rights and interests that should be protected. Representative English thanked Siler for his input and stated that he had voiced his opposition to the proposed regulations to the Department of Labor.
