Boyd E. Cabaniss wrote to Congressman Glenn English requesting assistance in advocating for a cost-of-living adjustment for retirees from the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission. Cabaniss expressed concern that retirees were not receiving enough retirement income to meet basic needs and highlighted the disparity between their situation and that of other government retirees who receive cost-of-living adjustments. Congressman English responded, informing Cabaniss that he had contacted the Secretary of Labor regarding the proposal and would provide an update once a response was received.
