Glenn English, a member of Congress from Oklahoma, wrote a letter to the Secretary of Labor expressing concern about proposed cutbacks to the Human Resources Development Institute program for 1984. The letter was prompted by a resolution passed by the Disabled American Veterans in Oklahoma, requesting full funding for the program to support training programs for disabled veterans and the handicapped. The resolution also called for copies to be sent to the Oklahoma Congressional Delegation and the Secretary of Labor.
