Glenn English, a member of Congress, received a response from the Department of Labor regarding funding for HRDI for Fiscal Year 1984. The Department of Labor is currently negotiating the funding and resources for nationally administered activities. English shares the concern of the Oklahoma State AFL-CIO regarding the funding and will continue to follow the issue. The Department of Labor appreciates the contributions of HRDI to training and employment programs.
