The City of Tulsa's legal department, led by City Attorney A. M. Widows, received a letter from Congressman George B. Schwabe regarding the change of boundaries between Osage County and Tulsa County. Schwabe suggested some preliminary work before introducing a joint resolution, including approaching Senators Monroney and Kerr. He also mentioned the importance of getting support from Congressman Stigler and possibly hiring Pawhuska counsel, specifically mentioning attorney William S. Hamilton. The legal department agreed to discuss these suggestions with the Chamber of Commerce committee and hoped to work towards achieving the desired boundary change.
