Mrs. Murray E. Sprague is writing to Mr. Schwab about her interest in the activities of the newly formed National Blindness Institute and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. She discusses the need for a cure or help for multiple sclerosis and mentions efforts to raise funds for research. Mrs. Sprague also mentions an appropriation of eight million dollars for the Institute in 1953 and requests Mr. Schwab's consideration on this important matter.
