The letter from Principal Chief Harry J. W. Belvin of the Choctaw Nation to Senator Kerr expresses concern over a proposed cut in the Oklahoma Indian Loan Fund by the Bureau of Indian Affairs for administrative costs. Belvin requests Senator Kerr to prevent this cut and restore the funds when it reaches the Senate side of Congress. Congressman Carl Albert also expresses his support in preventing the Indian Loan fund from being affected by administrative costs.
