Mr. Traut inquired about whether the Choctaw Indians would receive a payment soon. Congressman Carl Albert responded that the claims of the Choctaws and Chickasaws have been completed and there is no payment due to the Choctaw tribe at this time. He also mentioned that a recent award to the Creeks did not apply to the Choctaws.
