A group of witnesses, who were subpoenaed by the House Committee on Un-American Activities and labeled as "unfriendly," are speaking out against the Committee's attempts to censor and control the American motion picture industry. They criticize the Committee's dictatorial demands and anti-Constitutional bias, and urge Congress to undo the harm by voting down the citations against them. They argue that their resistance to the Committee's invasion of their minds, opinions, and associations was a principled stand in protection of industry, employees, the Bill of Rights, and American people. They call for support of a way of life based on law, tradition, and human freedom and dignity.
